Conversations on Humanitarian Architecture – PERSPECTIVE OF WOMEN IN REFUGE IN THE CITY

The international humanitarian crisis has intensified in recent years, mainly due to the great flow of migrations resulting from wars, socioeconomic problems, territorial disputes, ethnic-racial conflicts, environmental disasters and the current pandemic. According to the UNHCR report (High United Nations Commissioner for Refugees) in 2020, there are currently almost 80,000,000 people on forced displacement in the world. The conversations intend to address situations of transience, urban integration, reception and housing policies, among other topics, with the participation of several professionals and people in a situation of refuge. To foster a broader debate on humanitarian architecture, conversations were organized on the topic, in the second half of 2020, always on Thursdays at 6:30 pm (Brasilia time), with free online transmission by Zoom and YouTube.
