Collective Territorial Rights as an instrument for transforming urban reality: a debate using the lessons of Rio de Janeiro and Mozambique

On October 20, 2020, 06 PM, we will broadcast live: “Collective Territorial Rights as an instrument for transforming urban reality: a debate using the lessons of Rio de Janeiro and Mozambique”. We will try to answer the question: Is the Collective Territorial Term a powerful instrument for building sustainable cities and guaranteeing decent and accessible housing for all? Our approach will compare urban and housing issues between Rio and Mozambique, and we will focus mainly on informal communities. Soon, we will present the Collective Territorial Term as a transforming tool to ensure the communities’ right to their territories and strengthening the collective organization in favor of local development. Finally, we will have an open debate on all the above, on which we will answer questions.
