The proposed event aims to promote a space for reflection and dissemination of corporate best practices adopted by the concessionaire, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. It will also present both quantitative and qualitative results achieved so far during the concession period, encouraging a multidisciplinary debate on the importance of cross-sector collaboration to achieve universal access to basic sanitation. The event will take the form of a roundtable discussion, featuring representatives from Águas do Rio, Instituto Aegea, and Organized Civil Society. The main theme of the session, “Basic Sanitation and Collective Commitment: Technical, Environmental, and Social Innovations,” will highlight key outcomes, case studies, and future projects aligned with the expectations of the intervention territories. The Social Responsibility sector will present relevant and innovative social programs, emphasizing the community mobilization work carried out and the social impact indicators achieved through these initiatives. It is understood that social engagement is fundamental to the success of this endeavor; therefore, the topics addressed during the discussion will be of collective interest, underscoring the improvements brought to communities and areas facing socio-environmental vulnerability.
