The topic addresses how cities confront climate change in light of the right to the city and climate justice, focusing on the necessary climate adaptation actions for cities. The Urban Circuit is an excellent opportunity to delve deeper into this theme, as Brazil is currently undertaking, through the initiative of the Brazilian government, the development of the National Adaptation Strategy of the Climate Plan. This document represents a revision of the 2016 National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and is one of the pillars of the Climate Plan, which will serve as a guide for Brazilian climate policy until 2035.
