The Brazilian Bar Association, Rio Grande do Sul Section (OAB/RS), through its Urban Law and Urban Planning Commission (CDUPU) and Environmental Law Commission (CDA), is promoting the event City, Climate Change, and Environmental Litigation, linked to Urban Circuit 2025 and supported by UN-Habitat. The event is part of the thematic line “Climate Action and Urban Environment”, which seeks to discuss how cities can address the challenges of climate change by promoting solutions to reduce environmental impacts, enhance urban resilience, and advance sustainability. The aim is to highlight initiatives developed by governments, academia, civil society, and the private sector, as well as to underscore the role of legal practice in supporting sustainable and resilient cities.
