Cidade Viva: Territórios em Movimento [Living City: Territories in Motion] will arrive at the Setor Comercial Sul on October 22, featuring a program focused on public debate about the future of cities, the potential of territories, and the multiple forms of resistance and creativity that emerge from urban life. In an open and in-person format, the event will take place at the SCS Grandstand, with dialogue tables bringing together representatives from public authorities, social movements, universities, and cultural collectives to reflect on contemporary challenges and opportunities for urban transformation. The opening will feature the table “Cities that Care: Territory as a Space of Life”, reflecting on care, memory, and belonging as foundations for a more just and inclusive city. Following this, Panel 1: “Reimagined Cities” will highlight transformative experiences emerging from territories, emphasizing the leadership of local communities. Finally, Panel 2: “Cities of Innovation” will explore the role of culture, technology, and innovation as instruments of resistance and reinvention of urban space. More than an event, Cidade Viva is a collective call to think and experience Brasília as a living, plural, and constantly moving territory.
