Biodiver-city: A close look at the Brazilian peripheries

The event will consist of a workshop focused on SDGs 10 and 11 and the reality in the Brazilian peripheries, as well as the environmental racism issue. The goal is to promote collective knowledge building on Environmental Racism, addressing the supposedly different concepts as one. Environmental racism leads to environmental injustices and has negative social consequences, which affect, particularly, the historically stigmatized and racially discriminated population, such as indigenous peoples, quilombolas, and the black community.
