Literature and art allow us to reflect on cities, communities, housing and the pandemic in the different peripheries realities of Brazil and of the world. The importance of culture produced in these spaces leads us to a reflection on marginal voices in literature, especially female writing, but also music, art, ways of being and saying that feed the creative economy to value the community. The Paraíso Ocupado exhibition, in turn, shows a real estate speculation in the west of RJ and how it impacted the quality of housing, urban mobility, work, health, with the disorderly growth that brought changes, with a documentary and investigative focus.
