Action for the Enhancement of Danov Hill in Plovdiv

The second action of its kind, dedicated to Danov Hill welcomes volunteers, citizens, and various organisations to contribute to the improvement of the hill. The activities are coordinated by BG Be Active Association, while and all participants have access to a preliminary schedule and distribution of tasks to make the most of the day. Some of the enhancement actions on the day include reparation of benches, clean-up of the area, installation of signs for pollution prevention, and bins for separate waste collection at the foot of the hill. The alleys and stairs are to be cleared from vegetation, household waste is to be collected from previously marked locations, and clogged drains are scheduled for serving on the day. Participants in the action include employees of the municipality Gardens and Parks services, BG Be Active volunteers, employees of EVN Bulgaria, Representatives of Puldin Speleological Club, Emergency Rescue Plovdiv, Bulgarian Red Cross, Free Plovdiv Tour, Green Balkans, Association Agartha, and students and teachers from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection at Plovdiv University - Paisii Hilendarski.
