"This seminar will bring together researchers, administrators, cultural producers, and collectives from popular and traditional cultures, aiming to recognize the 2030 Agenda and the 17 SDGs as a guiding framework for activities related to the creative economy. During this 3-hour event, two panel discussions will feature three participants each, along with an opening and closing segment that includes artistic performances tied to the popular culture of the Federal District. Across the Federal District, there are numerous initiatives, though scattered, within universities, NGOs, and government organizations. These initiatives focus on discussing, understanding, and taking action on the SDGs within the cultural domain. This event seeks to bring together representatives from these various initiatives, fostering a platform for dialogue and celebration. The symbolic significance for practitioners of local traditional popular cultures lies in the awareness shared among themselves and within the wider society. This awareness centers on the intrinsic value of their unique ways of expression."
