World Habitat Day 2023 Observance

World Habitat Day was celebrated with zest and fervor at the Integral University, under the aegis of the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Design . On the occasion students held an exhibition 'Rendezvous D' Exposition' and an eco-friendly fashion show focusing on the use of sustainable materials in everyday world and reducing pollutions. In keeping with the SDG promise reiterated at the G 20 summit to support sustainable development eco-building material models and eco-produce were showcased by students. Sofas from discarded bicycle wheels and all weather canopies from bamboo screens and other such items were showcased by students at the show. Dutch entrepreneur Ms Sandra Blok, Actor Sima Modi, RJ Ms. Shubhra, , and Fashion Designer Mr. Shwetank Shukla, judged the show along with University faculty Dr Alvina Farooqui, Head Bioengineering and Ms Sheza Farrukh Baig. The event was graced by the Integral University Chancellor Prof. S. Waseem Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat, Registrar Prof. Mohammed Haris Siddiqui, Executive Director - International Affairs Prof. S. Adnan Akhtar, Executive Director IIMSR Prof. Mohammad Fauzan Akhtar and other dignitaries of the Integral fraternity. The event was jointly organized by Prof. Zeba Nisar -Dean FoAPD and Prof. Safiullah Khan- Head.
