Urban Friday: investing in urban futures

"The ""Urban Friday"" event organized by UN-Habitat is an initiative aimed at discussing and sharing experiences of UN-Habitat and its partners regarding cross-cutting issues related to financing, investment, social inclusion, and urban economies in the Global South. This year’s event, titled ""Urban Friday: Investing in Urban Futures - Collaboration for Resilience in the Global South"", will explore how building resilience is crucial in shaping possible urban futures and achieving sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban development. To achieve this goal, the event will highlight various UN-Habitat projects, each addressing different thematic aspects of the 2023 Urban Circuit. These projects will provide insights into the various strategies local governments have adopted to ensure well-planned urban interventions that have the potential to drive sustainable and inclusive growth in the future of their cities."
