Talkshow and tree planting across Indonesia

The implementation of tree planting and youth talk shows at the college or school level in the series of World Habitat Day - World Cities Day 2024 commemoration is expected to raise awareness of the younger generation, especially students and pupils, regarding the preservation of the natural environment that upholds cultural values ​​and how the area faces climate change and encourage actions that can be taken by students and pupils either directly or through ideas in preserving nature and heritage areas in facing the challenges of climate change. The implementation of the series of events cannot be realized alone, but requires collaboration from various parties to support its implementation. Along with the very diverse and contextual urban issues in each location, the Directorate General of Human Settlements through 34 Regional Settlement Infrastructure Centers in each province will enliven the HHD-HKD 2024 Commemoration by organizing tree planting and youth talk shows at colleges or schools in each province where the PPW Center is located, which will be held simultaneously on 7-9 October 2024 in conjunction with World Habitat Day.
