Study on Public Policy and Legal impacts of COVID-19 on the housing sector

The event will bring an extensive study on legal impacts of COVID-19 on the housing sector, with presentations by legal operators that will address the impact on cities and what public policies should be adopted, taking into account sustainable development and the promotion of social equality. It will focus on legal aspects of the social function of property and its tax issues in Brazil, taking into consideration the pandemic situation. The event will also consider aporaphobia in cities and a fresh look at post-pandemic poor communities as a way to avoid new health crises and thereby significantly reduce death and the number of people affected by disasters and greatly diminish economic losses in comparison to global gross domestic product.
