Shaping peace: Securing the future of cities through youth

Share best practices in a 50-minute panel based on a model program for cultivating a culture of peace within low-income communities to achieve youth and cities resiliency through the development of proactive Agents of Change. To raise awareness of the relationship between violence and underdevelopment of the somatic and mental potentials of young people to develop programs that will enable them to become more aware of their communities and become active members of their cities. Our endeavor seeks to not only fortify the resilience of the youth but also advance strategies for cities that enable adaptation and evolution towards learning new models and better practices to achieve peace, resiliency, and better future. The event is intended for NGOs, academics, foundations, ministers of state and country leaders, who are invited to share best practices and their knowledge to transform the reality of cities through education and the creation of Agents of Change.
