The Seminar “Law, work and the city: challenges for a better urban future” aims to promote the debate on the recent Brazilian normative trajectory in the urban and labor areas, analyzing its advances and setbacks, as well as verifying whether these legal innovations and their repercussions are close or depart from the guidelines of the United Nations' global agendas: a) Agenda 2020, especially the Sustainable Development Goals n.8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth and n.11 Sustainable Cities and Communities; b) New Urban Agenda.
The event is held by the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS) and will be broadcasted remotely on October 29th and 30th, 2020. Registration is free and open to the general public.
