Resilient urban economies. Cities as drivers of growth and recovery

On the occasion of the “World Habitat Day”, this event, has been jointly organized by the National Habitat Committee of I.R. of Iran, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Urban Regeneration corporation of Iran (URCI) and Tehran Municipality. Celebrating this day, the event will showcase some of the best practices and activities along with the New Urban Agenda (NUA) in Islamic Republic of Iran for making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. The event will be a gathering of key actors and stakeholders in urban sector including academia, NGOs, as well as representatives from local and national governments to share experiences of addressing urban challenges and finding more practical solutions for challenges ahead.
