Positioning for opportunities in digital era

Urbanize Africa is a youth led non-profit organisation committed to linking cities with national inclusive economic growth in Africa.

Every year, in the month of October, Urbanize Africa gathers young African leaders and professionals aged 18- 35 in the city of Owerri, Nigeria to brainstorm, innovate and create new solutions to pressing problems found in our cities.

This year, the focus is on "Positioning for Opportunities in Digital Era"

This summit is relevant because we believe that digital era has far-reaching impacts on urbanization and inclusive economic growth in our region, including on poverty, inequality, food security, health, education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, use of energy, jobs, infrastructure, consumption, climate and environmental impacts and institutions.
