Pandemic interpretations: challenges and perspectives

This event is about the cities and its inhabitants challenges in three different realities: Brazil, Angola and Guinea-Bissau. Interdisciplinary proposals, reports, case studies and reflections intertwine themes connected to the right to the city, accessibility and educational policies, demands of vulnerable groups such as the disabled and those with rare diseases, gender violence and violence against elderly, in addition to the psychological impacts COVID 19 has for mental health. The different professionals perspectives and institutions bring new horizons as it shows common problems to different countries, as well as solutions implemented in the context of a disease that affects everyone and reinforces the need for collective action based on the effectiveness pursuit of sustainable development objectives.
