The Young Professional’s Mentorship Initiative (YPMI), an activity under the project on “Partnership Implementing the New Urban Agenda” (PINUA) whose implementation by UN-Habitat is ongoing with funding from the European Union Delegation in Kenya, aims to empower young professionals by building their capacity towards the job market and enhancing their ability to access and create jobs through collaboration with the Affordable Housing Programme (AHP) under the State Department for Urban Development (SDHUD) and other partners. The ToT will strengthen the capacity of the young professionals to handle current unemployment challenges including transitioning from job seekers to job creators as outlined in the ToT Manual, enclosed.
