This innovative pedagogical project unites mathematics learning (algebraic expressions and 1st-degree equations) with urban environmental awareness, using gamification. Developed with 7th-grade students at Escola Estadual Barão do Rio Branco in Belo Horizonte, the project features integrated phases: a UN simulation linking algebraic performance to climate geopolitics; computational thinking via algebraic variables; classroom preliminaries; and a final event on October 22, 2026. Students present statistical urban diagnoses and sustainable solutions for Belo Horizonte, culminating in a live algebraic equation tournament that promotes global citizenship and climate resilience.
