An online public session with the City of São José dos Campos, URBAM and Captóleo, operator of the program, presenting the first impact results of the municipal used cooking oil reverse logistics program, established through a public call (Chamamento Público nº 001/2026). The session marks the completion of the first expansion, bringing the network to 40 Ecopontos (public collection points). The session will share indicators from the first implementation phase: volume of oil collected, estimated water protected from contamination, community participation through the program's app, and traceability and certified-destination data recorded in São Paulo State's official waste tracking system (SIGOR/CETESB). Beyond the numbers, the session discusses how reverse logistics, environmental education and measurable impact management can support cities in implementing the SDGs and the New Urban Agenda, especially SDGs 6 (Clean Water), 11 (Sustainable Cities), 12 (Responsible Consumption) and 13 (Climate Action), and presents the program's next steps toward a citywide network of 120 Ecopontos.
