Currently, as a result of population growth, cities are facing numerous challenges in economics, social services, education, safety, and transportation, which affect their ability to continue providing quality services to citizens. In this context, the pursuit of innovative solutions is a top priority for public managers, with the concept of Smart Cities standing out as a key approach. Focused on smart cities, the event features debates and presentations by participants with nationally and internationally recognized work on topics including innovation, urban mobility, open data, environment and sustainability, urban planning, housing, the collaborative economy, health, and education. The program also includes the presentation of Smart City case studies.
