The event is planned as a seminar focused on the contemporary city and its socio-spatial challenges, with a particular emphasis on medium and large cities in the Northern region of Brazil, considering the distinct urban inequalities presented. The event will adopt an interdisciplinary approach, connecting urban issues with related aspects such as culture and territory. The seminar also aims to expand debates and research promoted by the Postgraduate Program in Culture and Territory Studies and the Urban and Cultural Studies Center at the Federal University of Northern Tocantins.
