The event aims to promote a dialogue on the financing challenges of urban policies, especially in cities in the Northeast region, within the context of climate change and the emerging green economy paradigms, considering the different scales of planning, both at the municipal and regional/territorial levels. One of the primary focal points of this event is the discussion of the feasibility of urban development tools that are designed to attract resources for urban resilience. The goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hurdles associated with implementing strategies aimed at reducing disparities while simultaneously promoting the construction of green infrastructure. Furthermore, discussing the topic from the perspective of state governments is of utmost importance, as they are responsible for regional and metropolitan planning, as well as agents supporting local capacity development for urban management and financing in the new context of the green economy.
