Lusophone South-South Dialogues on Urban Resilience

The Lusophone South-South Dialogues have previously taken place at the Angola Pavilion during the World Urban Forum in Katowice. These dialogues brought together technical experts and managers from various countries and international cooperation to facilitate discussions that fostered the exchange of experiences, peer learning, and intercultural engagement within the Lusophone community. In the Urban Circuit, we will cover three main topics: 1) urban policies; 2) housing; and 3) urban resilience. The Dialogue on Urban Resilience will center its discussions on climate action and disaster risk reduction, featuring panelists from the United Nations (UN-Habitat and UNDRR), DIMSUR Technical Cooperation, and government representatives at the federal, state, and municipal levels.
