Living on the margins of Lusotopia II: local initiatives, support and concertation in COVID's times

This event is part of the online 3 conversations cycle “LIVING ON THE MARGINS OF LUSOTOPIA”, with leaders from the urban fringes of Angola, Brazil, Portugal and Mozambique, being organized within the scope of the Africa Habitat Project, (coordinated by FAUL and financed by FCT and AKDN) and the post-doctoral Peripheral territories of Lusotopia de Débora Cavalcanti (NEST, FAU-UFAL). The purpose is to listen the voices of people from these 4 places, to compare their situations and their impressions of living on the urban fringes. Considering the dynamics of online debate, the conversation will consist of three questions for each of the guests. Each block is open to questions from the audience. The second round of discussion aims to present local initiatives, contributions/projects of other organizations and public policies applied to solve everyday problems during the pandemic. The dialogue with public officials and other institutions before and during the pandemic will be analyzed.
