The webinar will be hosted by the Zero Waste Alliance Brazil (Aliança Resíduo Zero Brasil - ARZB) and will cover the following topics: 1- Popular Recycling and Composting (MNCR and SPCC): This segment places a strong emphasis on the social and environmental aspects of building sustainable cities, specifically through popular recycling and experiences in composting. 2- Reducing Single-Use Plastics - PL 2524/2022, Oceana Brazil: Here, the discussion revolves around the environmental dimension of sustainable cities, with a primary focus on reducing and eliminating single-use plastics. 3- Waste Incineration, GAIA: This section delves into the technological dimension of building sustainable cities and sheds light on the negative social and environmental impacts associated with solid waste-to-energy recovery in Brazil. 4- Partnerships with organizations of recyclable material collectors in municipalities, MNCR and ARZB: This part addresses the social, environmental, and economic facets of sustainable cities."
