Huertos Urbanos 2030

We would like you to share this interview in which we talk about the creation of urban orchards in Bolivia, a proposal by arquitectura yngrid echalar, an architecture office based in santa cruz bolivia.
We focus on re-conceptualizing commercial spaces for the supply of basic products of the family basket, we propose the creation of Urban Orchard as public facilities
The proposal focuses on merging rural and urban habits, bringing the benefits of the countryside to the city, creating tourist landmarks under this concept and spaces where citizens can flow, interact and source in a sustainable way.
This is followed by a sustainable production chain, users can live the experience of collecting and harvesting their vegetables, while enjoying these terraces full of life and contrasts with the rest of the city, and later access the commercial level to manage their payment or carry other types of prepackaged products.
in the same way, those who do not have the time to enjoy the experience of the orchard can directly access the commercial level or enjoy the open plan that generates a square open to the citizen 365 days a year.
