FABER 2025 – Forum for Active Built Environments Research will take place on 30–31 October 2025 in Tirana, coinciding with World Cities Day. The 4th edition of the forum explores the theme “Inclusive Smart Cities”, bringing together architects, urban planners, policymakers, researchers, and community voices to rethink the future of urban life. Through three core modules – The Gendered City, The Smart City Paradox, and Shaping Future Cities – FABER 2025 will open critical debates on equity, technology, and innovation in urban design. This year, the forum will also host the Abu Dhabi (Dis)Connected Exhibition, showcasing global perspectives on connectivity, identity, and the urban experience.
