Challenges of slums and implications for Urban Planning and Policies

As a part of the Urban October initiative, the Department of Architecture and Planning, NIT Calicut presents an expert lecture by Dr. Amit Patel, Associate Professor, Boston's McCormack Graduate School for Policy and Global Atudies, University of Massachusetts (UMass, Boston), USA on the Challenges of slums and implications for urban planning and policies. The event will be conducted in Hybrid mode at the Conference Hall, Department of Architecture and Planning, NIT Calicut, on October 13,2023 at 5.30pm(IST). The event is being coordinated by Dr Mohammed Firoz C and Dr Sanil Kumar for the department. This is the third lecture planned as a series of expert talks discussing urban planning challenges in the global context.
