Our Vision Zero Pilot Project As part of Urban October, we are launching the Vision Zero pilot project in Almaty. The pilot location will be selected based on several criteria, including the level of road traffic crashes, existing infrastructure, community engagement, and the potential for urban transformation. Within the selected area, the Vision Zero Community team will: - Work closely with local residents and partners, - Promote the principles of Vision Zero, - Implement tactical safety measures, - Foster a culture of road safety through direct community participation. This initiative marks the first step toward systemic change, where urban safety becomes a shared responsibility and a collective goal.
