Beach Clean Up Drive

• On the occasion of the “Urban October”, the Capital Governorate is going to organize a beach cleanup to promote a better urban future, in collaboration with UN habitat Bahrain. • This initiative is under the framework of the Manama Healthy City Program and the Green Capital Project. • The Capital Governorate initiative in organizing a campaign to clean the coasts of Seef District, uniting more than 300 volunteers from different organizations within the Kingdom • The Capital Governorate supports projects aimed at increasing public awareness, and to achieve the SDGs goals, and Goal “11” • The Capital Governorate is empowering a culture of volunteerism, promoting social responsibility and unity across the Kingdom.
