With the theme “An Inclusive World”, we want to encourage the young generation in Macao to explore the possibility of a more sustainable and resilient future by organizing the Macao-wide English Essay Competition from September to December of 2022. As an English essay competition geared towards promoting the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we will invite students from local universities, secondary and elementary schools, and youth organizations to submit their unique view of the world. Through this event, we hope to foster high-level thinking with topics based on global social affairs, strengthen writing skills and confidence in English communication, embrace the voices of student stakeholders in the society, and encourage the Macao community to build a more sustainable future together.
