When talking about the future, the thought of automation and precision is immediate, fluid and efficient. For such a future to work, two elements are necessary: cutting-edge technology and, one that few think of, a strategic planning of energy supply, especially in large urban centers.
The pandemic sped up this future of Smart Cities, mainly because it affects commuting - axis of city formation - between home, work and place of study. This panel aims to outline some economic paths that well-managed energy resources can offer in networks and the technology that makes it efficient in the current urban environment amidst the new post-pandemic life habits.
