The 3rd Academic Week of Geography at the Veiga de Almeida University has as its guiding theme the presentations: “The local and the global Post-COVID-19: is it possible to re-present a different world?”. We aim to hold the conferences mediated by Geography professors, emphasizing four topics of discussion: 1) COVID-19 and Cartography; 2) COVID-19 and Geographic education; 3) COVID-19 and the environmental issue; 4) COVID-19, challenges and dilemmas of the metropolis.
