9th Seune College Faculty Research Symposium (SIMPEDS)

The 9th Seune College Faculty Research Symposium (SIMPEDS) will address global health in the current context of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing specifically on public policies aimed at ensuring that cities are sustainable. SIMPEDS will count on the presence of specialists in the area of housing and public policies aimed at better planning in the organization of urban spaces, especially in relation to areas of risk, the outer city neighborhoods and spaces in which the poorest and most excluded people live. At SIMPEDS 9, each guest will address points related to the general theme according to their area of scientific activity or experience with collectives and non-governmental entities, for a period of 90 minutes. In the final 30 minutes of the symposium, questions and observations made by the virtual audience during the presentations will be answered and discussed with the speakers.
