Human Rights and Pandemic Cities

This table “Human Rights and Pandemic Cities” is part of the event “The pandemic and post-pandemic City Standard, rights in motion: setbacks and resistances” which aims to debate urban public policies in a post-Pandemic context of COVID-19, based on the necessary considerations on the ongoing processes of rights setbacks and enhancement of strategies from the perspective of the social function of cities that can help to build potential alternatives, especially regarding the standardization of cities, which emphasizes the increasing inequalities. The aggravation of vulnerabilities is sustained and consolidated by a socioeconomic situation based on market extension and austerity policies that cause setbacks in normative construction, judicial decisions and urban projects.
