Caruá Creative Circuit

Criativo Caruá aims to promote Art and Culture of suburbs by launching the first stage of Caruá Creative Map Caruá created using information gathered from local residents and artists. The map, done on ArcGis, briefly shows artists and their work, and will be hosted in Caruá social media. The Circuit is part of a series of activities involving art curatorship, exhibitions, lectures, workshops and mentorships. The event layout will be a mix of lectures - conversation groups - virtual exhibition. Two main lectures with the presence of art experts in Brazilian and African culture, followed by a conversation group with local artists, cultural producers, art dealers and academics specialized in contemporary art. During the event will be a virtual exhibition presenting the work of some previously selected artists.
