Gender and Childhood Perspective for Urban Mobility in the Post-COVID-19

Most large cities in Brazil have enacted social isolation measures in order to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, such restrictions have caused significant changes in travel modes and the use of public spaces in a short period of time. What can we profit from these experiences? What is the mobility from a gender and childhood perspective that can add a new paradigm for the adaptation of transportation and modes of displacement in cities post-COVID-19? In order to reflect on these questions, the webinar invites 4 professionals working in the field of urban planning and mobility to share their experiences and debate. It will be presented the main concepts for an urban development alternative adapted to sustainable mobility, actions focused on children in the City of Valencia, and the gender perspective to rethink the modes of displacement.
