More recently, Covid-19 catalyzed a change of global scale impacting cities all over the world. While many are still finding solutions to basic necessities in this trying period, access to high-speed internet and lifestyle entertainment are seen to become an integral part of urban well-being too.
Remarkably, during these tough time, urban society has risen up to take on challenges presented to them and worked with each other in ways we couldn’t imagine before to combat this global pandemic.
In light of this situation, we have decided that for this year World Cities Day, we will be hosting an online conference, UrbanXFest 2020. Everyone can view the sessions, engage with us live on the YouTube platform and share new ideas focusing on improving urban society as a whole during this Covid-19 pandemic. On the 31st of October 2020, the digital conference will begin at 10.00 a.m. and ends at 1.30 p.m.
