Thank you for your interest in hosting an Urban October 2025 event. Please find the instructions below to guide you through the process.
How to Submit Your Event:
- Access the GEMS platform using the following link: UN-Habitat GEMS: The Global Event Management System, GEMS, is UN-Habitat's innovative and user-friendly event management platform. It offers a one-stop solution to attend an event, submit and manage an event application and much more.
- On the homepage, select the Urban October event icon located on the left side of your screen.
- You will be prompted to sign up if you do not already have an account.
- If you already have an account, please log in to proceed.
- After logging in or creating an account, you will be redirected to your dashboard. Click on the Urban October icon from the dashboard.
- Register for Urban October by following the on-screen steps.
- You will then be redirected to the event form, where you can enter your event details.
- Once you have submitted your event details, click on the "Applications" tab. Here, you will find your submitted event applications.
- To submit additional event applications, go to the “Applications” section and click on the “Event Applications” tab to begin the process.
