The theme of the event is Social Housing, with a focus on public policies and project experiences aimed at producing safe, comfortable, healthy and accessible housing for everyone in the city of São Paulo. The selected experiences (academic, implemented or in the process of being implemented) represent the main approaches and agents involved in contemporary housing promotion: public policies and programs; new housing projects; projects for the rehabilitation of existing buildings (retrofit) in central areas; and requalification and assistance projects for self-built residences in slums. These approaches are presented in three speeches by experts in the field, followed by a discussion involving the moderator and the audience. Finally, the event brings into discussion different alternatives in force for the production of quality social housing in order to reflect on actions for the future, also considering the impacts of COVID-19.
