Event Theme Urban Dialogues: Metropolitan Challenges and Pathways — housing as a driving force for reducing inequalities, strengthening urban faced with resilience to climate change, and the right to sanitation. Event Focus To foster cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the municipalities of the Baixada Santista region on strategic topics of the urban agenda, strengthening the metropolitan perspective and the integration of public policies. Event Format Two major thematic panels (morning and afternoon), with introductory talks, presentations of municipal experiences, and contributions from public institutions, followed by open debates with the audience. Event Approach To create a space for technical and political dialogue, highlighting local practices, encouraging inter-municipal cooperation, and connecting the regional reality with UN-Habitat’s global guidelines, in alignment with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
