No Balanço da Rede IV - 10 Years of Revista Ciência e Sustentabilidade [Science and Sustainability Journal]

To celebrate a decade of contributions to scientific production and dissemination, the Revista Ciência e Sustentabilidade [Science and Sustainability Journal] is hosting a commemorative event that will also mark the pre-launch of a special issue on “Public Policies and Sustainable Development.” The event aims to foster dialogue among researchers, public managers, social movements, and other stakeholders engaged in building more equitable and resilient cities. As part of the Urban Circuit 2025 program, the event aligns with the central theme “Facing Urban Challenges: Pathways to Just and Sustainable Cities” by highlighting the strategic role of scientific knowledge in shaping and implementing public policies capable of transforming unequal urban realities. The initiative is also part of the topic Reducing Urban Inequalities, encouraging reflection and exchange of experiences on how science can contribute to overcoming the social, territorial, and economic asymmetries that persist in Brazilian urban contexts. By bringing together multiple perspectives and forms of knowledge, the event seeks to strengthen collective commitments to urban justice and sustainable development.
