Greater Mendoza Resilient to Urban Heat

Urban heat poses a silent threat, particularly to older adults. On October 1, the Centro Cultural Cristóforo Colombo will host the debate "Resilient Greater Mendoza to Urban Heat." Experts from the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) and Center for Implementation of Public Policies for Equity and Growth (CIPPEC), along with authorities from the Mendoza government and metropolitan area municipalities, will analyze the impact of climate change and urban heat on older persons. They aim to foster urban adaptation. The event will also feature the presentation of the "Impact of Heat Waves in Greater Mendoza" project.
