The city through my lenses

In celebration of World Cities Day, we started a vibrant photography contest at the company that attracted over 55 participants from different offices located in Mexico and backgrounds each showcasing their unique perspective of urban life. Participants submitted stunning images that capture the essence of their cities, highlighting architectural marvels, streets, parks,important landmarks and community interactions. The contest encouraged creativity and engagement, inviting the workers to explore their surroundings and express their love for their cities. A panel of 3 judges, comprised of the Sustainable area in the organization, evaluated the submissions based on originality, composition, and emotional impact. Winners were announced through the company mailing, where the top 10 photographs were showcased in a small gallery in the main corporate building, allowing participants to appreciate the beauty and diversity of urban landscapes in Mexico. The event fostered a sense of community among participants and emphasized the importance of cities as cultural and social hubs. The contest not only celebrated urban life but also inspired participants to see their environments through a new lense, reinforcing the connection between people and their cities.
