World Habitat Day is observed annually on the first Monday of October to reflect on the state of our towns and cities and the basic right of all to adequate shelter. This year, the celebration revolves around two key themes: 1. Youth Power: Leading the Charge Against Climate Change 2. Moving Forward: Youth-Driven Solutions for Sustainable Urban Mobility Objective: The primary objective of this year’s World Habitat Day is to highlight and harness the energy, creativity, and innovative capacity of the youth in tackling critical urban and environmental challenges. By focusing on these themes, we aim to inspire collective action, elevate youth voices, and foster sustainable solutions for the future of our cities and the planet.
