Urban October with Urban World Matters Series: Youth vision, crafting sustainable futures "event 2: The School Journey Lab Competition: My Journey, My Planet"

Urban World Matters is thrilled to present a series of events for Urban October, UN-Habitat. The series will focus on the theme "Youth vision: crafting sustainable futures." We will delve into the power of youth in shaping sustainable urban environments and emphasise the role of businesses in enabling youth to lead positive urban change. We will explore ways and opportunities for empowering youth to craft a sustainable urban future for their communities, helping them become the urban leaders of tomorrow. Urban World Matters will share its pilot projects in London and Colombia for the School Journey Lab in Kingston Upon on Thames and the UWM Lab - La Esperanza in Medellin. We aim to ignite conversations, inspire action and strengthen the relationship between youth, communities, businesses, education and the public sector in crafting better cities for people and a better life on Earth. Event 2: The School Journey Lab Competition: My Journey, My Planet This competition encourages students to dream and craft their sustainable school commuting experience. It inspires young minds to think creatively about how their daily routines can contribute to a greener, sustainable future and fosters a connection between youth and their environment. for more details: https://www.urbanworldmatters.com/events/
