Habitat Hiroba – Engaging youth to create a better urban future

In line with this year’s World Habitat Day theme, we will focus on urban development in Fukuoka, where UN-Habitat Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific is located. This online lecture will highlight two initiatives: a 30-year-long international exchange program and tourism initiatives involving young people in city development. We are pleased to welcome two speakers who will share insights into how these initiatives have contributed to the local community and empowered youth to shape the future of the city. Through this lecture, we aim to deepen our understanding of the role of young people in cities and explore pathways to a better urban future.
